He was predeceased by: his father Leroy Thomas, Sr.; his brothers, Rickey, J. C. and Leroy Thomas, Jr.; and his nephew Jamie Batiste, Sr..

He is survived by: his wife Rose Stevenson; his children, Ann, Mickey Jr. Contessa and Troy; and his mother Ora Lee Thomas. He is also survived by siblings, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
