He was predeceased by: his parents, Cephas Reeves and Lou Reeves; his former wife Rusha Lynell Cooley Reeves; his children, Michael Ray Reeves and Rusha Roxanne Reeves; his stepdaughter Katherine Fitch; his siblings, Kelly Reeves, Roger Reeves and Patricia McMullen; his grandchildren, Joseph Ray Deslatte and Cephas Neil Schmidt; and his granddaughter-in-law Melissa Deslatte.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Reeves of Mittie; his daughter Sharon Reeves Deslatte (Rickey) of Mittie; his stepchildren, Greg Smith (Beth) of Sulphur, Travis Smith of Sulphur and Charlotte Smith of Longville; his siblings, Mickey Reeves (Beth) of Mittie, Charles Wayne Reeves (Betty) of Mittie and Janie Chaline (Ronnie) of Mittie; and his grandchildren, Joshua Deslatte, Rusha "Sissy" Sliman (Justin), Shelby Cole and Taylor Reeves. He is also survived by three step grandchildren; six great grandchildren; thirteen step great grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.
