He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert House and Mattie House; his former wife Shirley Ann House; and his sister Connie Maddox. He is survived by: his wife Rita House of Minden; his children, Merlin Wade House (Rhonda) of Dallas, Donald House (Sharon) of Tyler, Lanette House Vasquez of Bossier City and Christina Smith (Jimmy) of Minden; his brother-in-law Keith Maddox; his grandchildren, Ashley Long (Matthew), Ray Vasquez (Lisa), Jonathan House, Christopher House, Ashton Heard, Madison Smith and Cameron Smith; and his great grandchildren, Madison, Seth Adams, Victoria and Charlotte Vasquez.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:45 PM at the Rose Neath Funeral Homes - Minden (211 Murrell St, Minden, LA 71055). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at 1527 Lewisville Rd, Minden, LA 71055.
