Valda Ruth Matthews Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Valda Ruth Matthews (Minden, Louisiana), who passed away on March 12, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Isiah "Ike" Matthews; her grandson Matthew Kyle Norred; and her sister Barbara Spradley. She is survived by: her daughters, Kay Norred (Kenneth Norred) of Ringgold and Linda Griffin (Rodney Griffin) of Ringgold; her sister Faye Hall of Logansport; her grandchildren, Kane Norred (Kari) of Ringgold and Katie Ley (Drew Ley) of Benton; and her great grandchildren, Ava, Vivian, Jackson, Ella Norred of Benton and Kade Norred of Ringgold. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
