It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommy Michael Hammons of Minden, Louisiana, who passed away on January 4, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Tommy Michael may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Hammons and Nina Johnson Daugherty; his stepfather Harris Daughtery; and his brother-in-law Tony Manuel. He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Hammons (Jessica) and Michael Hammons; his grandchildren, Sam and Emmarie Hammons; his sister Karen "Sissy" Manuel; and his niece Kacee Manuel. He is also survived by numerous other cousins, relatives, and friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rose Neath Funeral Homes - Minden (211 Murrell St, Minden, LA 71055). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
