It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon Edwards Schonfarber of Minden, Louisiana, born in Ringgold, Louisiana, who passed away on January 18, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Seward Thomas and Helen Thomas; her son Jody Edwards; and her former husband Johnny Glen Edwards. She is survived by: her husband Ben Schonfarber; her children, Nancy Collins (Tim) of Heflin, Janet (Stacy) of Texas and Ben Schonfarber, Jr. of Jamestown; her daughter-in-law Denise Edwards of Minden; her sister Nancy Youngblood of Minden; and her siblings-in-law, Clarice Madden of Minden and Schonfarber of North Carolina. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren.
