He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Alwyn Adams and Opal Balcom Adams; his daughter Peggy Adams McKinney Faircloth; his brother Don Adams; and his wife Mary Louise Adkins Adams.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Thomas Weston McKinney (Amy) of Ukiah, CA and Russell Leon McKinney (Tori) of Minden; and his great grandchildren, Dylan McKinney, Peyton McKinney (Lauren), Cassidy McKinney, Cody McKinney and Jackson McKinney.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund.
