He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Callender and Margarite Callender (Peggy Callender); and his sister Frances Aultman. He is survived by: his children, John Callender (Lisa) of Sarepta and Regina Carathers of Minden; his siblings, Faye Barron (Gordon) of Minden and Mike Callender of Minden; his grandchildren, Amy, Cody, Alicen, Savanah, Shelby, Kinsley, Grant and Scotty; his great grandchild Tatum; and the mother of his children Laury Thomas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
