He is survived by: his wife Jane Turner; his son Robert Terry Turner II (Cindy); his grandchildren, Catherine and Cole Turner; his daughter Chelsie Williams (Justin); and his grandchildren, Griffin and Lucy Williams.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Asbury United Methodist Church (3200 Airline Dr, Bossier City, LA 71111).
