She was predeceased by: her parents, Vallie Chanler and Ike Chanler (W. D. Roberts); her son Walter Kem Roberts; and her siblings, Billy, Vema, Doyle, Hoyle Chanler, Lilly Govone, Grace Patterson, Doris Martin and Justine McCoy.

She is survived by: her daughter Debra Roberts; her granddaughters, Kristin Nation (Allen Todd) and Lauren McCombie (Will); her sister Geraldine Peevy (LC); and her great grandchildren, Riley, Raylee and Hayden Ryne. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rose Neath Funeral Homes - Minden (211 Murrell St, Minden, LA 71055). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at 1527 Lewisville Rd, Minden, LA 71055.
