Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Martha leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie Brooks and Lucille Brooks (Harold Sampson); her sister Billie Sanders; and her grandson James Poe (Pee Wee). She is survived by: her children, Frank Henry (Barbara), Trudy Durbin and Paula Summerville (Michael); and her sister Dorothy Lea. She is also survived by five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rose Neath Funeral Homes - Minden (211 Murrell St, Minden, LA 71055). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Minden Cemetery (301 Goodwill St, Minden, LA 71055).
