She was predeceased by: her son Todd Alexander; her parents, Jesse Hollis and Blanche Gresham Hollis Butterfield; her stepfather C. M. Butterfield; and her siblings, J. J. "Buck" Hollis, Mary Francis Hollis Carpenter and Helen Hollis Hall.
She is survived by: her son Bill Alexander (Mary Lynn) of Youngsville; her daughter-in-law Janice Alexander of Minden; her grandchildren, Jennifer Alexander Fontenot (Patrick) of Youngsville, Jared Alexander of Youngsville, Matt Alexander of Minden, Brittany Alexander Parsons (Sean) of Gypsum, CO, Shane Patterson of Minden and Tiffani Patterson of Minden; and her great grandchildren, Lauren and Lillian Fontenot of Youngsville. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the First Baptist Church West Chapel (329 Pennsylvania Ave, Minden, LA 71055). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
