He was predeceased by: his parents, L. N. Johnson, Sr. and Julia Cornell McDade Johnson; and his siblings, L. N. Johnson, Jr., Marianna Johnson, James M. "Jimmy" Johnson and Joan Johnson Harwood.
He is survived by: his wife Susan LeCompte Johnson; his son Eric Gerard Johnson; and his granddaughter Hannah Johnson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Rose Neath Funeral Homes - Minden (211 Murrell St, Minden, LA 71055). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Minden (301 Pennsylvania Ave, Minden, LA 71055). A burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 3:15 PM to 3:45 PM at 1527 Lewisville Rd, Minden, LA 71055.
