He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Faye Holder; his daughters, Terry Schild (Karl), Celeste Mazarakes (Michael) and Cheryl Marcantel; his grandchildren, Jonathan Schild, David Schild, Ashley Mazarakes, Lexie Mazarakes, Katelynn Marcantel Baylee Marcantel, Jedd Marcantel and Kacee Lewis; his great grandchildren, Mabel Schild and Wyatt Boyett; and his sister Linda Crow (Johnny). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rose Neath Funeral Homes - Minden (211 Murrell St, Minden, LA 71055). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Whispering Pines Cemetery (16312 US-371, Minden, LA 71055).
