He was predeceased by: his parents, William Chapman and Ethel Auger McMurrian; and his siblings, Harriet Cooke and Robert McMurrian. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gray McMurrian; his stepdaughter Kirsten Pilgrim (John) of Junction City; his children, Wesley McMurrian of Monroe and Claire Kappa (David) of Cincinnati; and also, Sara Schaefer McMurrian, William, Celeste, Camille Kappa and Holland Pilgrim.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. John's Episcopal Church (1107 Broadway St, Minden, LA 71055).
