It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene L. Lavender (Minden, Louisiana), who passed away on February 23, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce. He is survived by: his children, Ann James, Ruth Stone (Brian), Jane McDaniel (Jeff) and David Lavender (Hoa). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pleasant Valley Cemetery Association, 1098 Greene Road, Minden, Louisiana, 71055.
