It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edwina C. Whitlow of Minden, Louisiana, who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Calhoun and Mary Calhoun; her brother Edward Calhoun; and her cousin Sandra Sparkman. She is survived by: her husband David Whitlow; her children, Spencer Smith (Bethany) of Ruston and Sara Rouse of New Orleans; her stepdaughter Tara Smith (Trey) of Ruston; and her grandchildren, Alyssa, Mallory, Noah, Adalyn and Avery.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rose Neath Funeral Homes - Minden (211 Murrell St, Minden, LA 71055). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church West Chapel (329 Pennsylvania Ave, Minden, LA 71055). A burial was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at the Minden Cemetery (301 Goodwill St, Minden, LA 71055).
