He is survived by: his grandsons, Dacota Finklea (Rachel) of Doyline and Mikeal Stoops (Mindy) of West Sunbury; his great grandchildren, Frank, Carter and Elizabeth; and his brother Tommy Carter (Fancy) of Doyline. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
