With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cleora Williams Smith of Minden, Louisiana, born in Wisner, Louisiana, who passed away on February 1, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James K. Williams and Edra Lester Williams; her husband EJ Smith; her son Michael Smith; and her siblings, Evelyn Aymond and Carroll Williams.

She is survived by: her son K. Scott Smith (Scarlett); her grandchildren, Fawn, Austin and Caleb Smith; her siblings, Rufus Williams and Judy Kowis of Houston; and her sister-in-law Ethel Tyler. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces, and nephews.
