He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard Hebert and Ada Bares; his wife Joanna Comeaux Hebert; his children, David Todd Hebert, Becky H. Wooten, Sandra M. Hebert and Carla H. Leger; his great grandchild Ky Veronie; and his sisters, Hazel LeBlanc and Dorothy Begnaud.

He is survived by: his children, Cindy R. Hebert, Daniel L. Hebert (Tina), Gary L. "Pookie" Hebert and Kenny J. Hebert (Christy); his brother Dale Hebert (Vickie); and his son-in-law Kenneth V. Wooten. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; five step grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
