Papin, Sr.; her children, Francis Papin Jr. (Mary), Marie Wilson (Bruce), Dianne Cotton (Charles), Sue Papin Sears and Robert Papin (Claire); and her brother Emile Buras (Bea) of Luling. She is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (4747 Veterans Blvd, Metairie, LA 70006). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at the Greenwood Cemetery (5190 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124).
Zelia (Zell) Marie Buras Papin died quietly at home after a lengthy decline due to Alzheimer's disease.
