It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Yvonne St. Romain Morise of Metairie, Louisiana, born in Plaucheville, Louisiana, who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecilia Romain and Vance St. Romain; her husband John Morise; her son Jeffrey Morise; her brother Aubrey St. Romain; and her close friend Joe Shields.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Economides (Bobby), John Morise (Suzanne), Vance Morise (Susan) and Michelle Caluda (Ronny). She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, as well as her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Benilde Church (1901 Division Street, Metairie, LA 70001). A Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
