He was predeceased by: his parents, Henri Pretlove and Agnes McClymont Pretlove; and his brothers, Robert Pretlove and Arthur Pretlove. He is survived by: his wife Germaine Duhe Pretlove; his sons, William "Billy" James Pretlove, Jr. (Janell) and Steven Michael Pretlove (Terri); his grandchildren, Adam Kuehne (Kristy), Shane Pretlove, Jayme Pretlove Lacoume (Arthur), Steven M. Pretlove, Jr. (Barbara), Brandon Pretlove (Kelly), Eric Pretlove (Tristen) and Brody Leake (Kimberly); his great grandchildren, Payton, Preston Kuehne, Mandy, Karley, Leah Schexnaydre, Anistyn, Arthur Lacoume, Caden, Brantley, Scarlett Pretlove, Zachary, Austin, Noah Pretlove, Landon, Raelyn Pretlove, Theo and Tatum Leake; his sister Betsy Pretlove Rizzuto; and also Jaheim Carey, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home (1600 N Causeway Blvd, Metairie, LA 70001). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Memories Cemetery (4900 Airline Hwy, Metairie, LA 70001).
