He was predeceased by: his wife Ingrid Schleh; his sister Marietta Herr (Richard); and his parents, Georg Schleh and Karoline Gartner Schleh. He is survived by: his children, George Schleh (Nancy), Teresa Schleh Bruff (Bradley) and Karoline Schleh-Gerowin (Sean); his grandchildren, Lysander Schleh (Bi), Maria Schleh, Hanni Gerowin and Banks Gerowin; his great grandchild Wulfie Schleh; and his nieces, Ellen Hall (Danny), Christine Jenkins (Gale) and Jeannie Walsdorf (Mike).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memories Funeral Home (4900 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
