He is survived by: his wife Nelda Smith Grimes; his children, Thomas "Tom" Grimes and Dannielle Grimes Matassa (Christopher); his grandchildren, Dominic, Lila and Luca Matassa; his sister Judy Grimes McCloskey (Randy); his sister-in-law Linda Grimes (Carrol); and his nieces and nephews, Doodie Grimes, Greg Grimes, Shannon Manning and Kelly McCloskey McInnis.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memories Funeral Home and Cemetery (4900 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
