He was predeceased by: his parent Merlyn Reisch Casey Weilbaecher; his brother Robert R. Casey; and his uncle Rev. Msgr. He is survived by: his father Robert Taylor Casey; his wife Patricia DeSautel Casey; his sister Connie Casey O'Donnell; his children, Robert Taylor Casey, II (Anne), Elizabeth Ryan Casey and Peter Joseph Casey (Virginia); his grandchildren, Magdalen, Pauline, Patrick, Eleanor, Edith, Edmund, Stephen and April; his nieces and nephews, Meghan O'Donnell, Brendan O'Donnell, Camille Casey, Connor Dwyer and Carter Dwyer; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald and Terri Dwyer.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (105 Bonnabel Blvd, Metairie, LA 70005). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
