With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley June Bickford (Metairie, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Shirley shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Shirley farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Bickford Sr. and Zella Bickford; and her daughter Cynthia Jumonville (Eddie). She is survived by: her children, Michael Malbrough (Susan), Deborah Meyer (Clay), Nancy Roehlk and Bobby Malbrough (Alissa). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memories Funeral Home (4900 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
