It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosalie Vegas Pujol of Metairie, Louisiana, born in Harvey, Louisiana, who passed away on March 20, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Anthony Vegas and Emelda Cantrelle; her brother Autry Vegas; her daughter Deanne Pujol Lopez; and her husband Edward S. Pujol, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Dora Schouest (Lee), Edward S. Pujol, III (Steven), Darla Chin (Richard), Dana Pujol, Erron Pujol (Antonio) and Jennifer Fonseca Alexander (Lee); her grandchildren, Erica Schouest, Matthew Bertucci (Kelly), Ryan Bertucci (Victorya), Erron Pujol, Jr. (Alora), Kyle Pujol, Glen Schouest, Stephen Bertucci, Richard Chin, Jr. and Lindsey Pujol; and her great grandchildren, Laine Murphy, Gigi George, Stephanie George, Mara Hancox, Wren Hancox, Mia Bertucci and Antoine Schouest. She is also survived by puppy Pee Wee, and many other relative and friends.
