He is survived by: his son Ashley Thomas (Cassandra); his wife Ruth McGee; his children, Ronald Jr., J'Hmal Mason (Darneshia) of New Orleans and Maudina Thomas; his grandchildren, Ashley Jr. (April), Kandice Thomas Burts (Brandon), Shomarii Thomas (Adasia), Brandon Ford, Malik Miller and Taquisha Jones (Dwayne); his sister-in-law Janice Thomas; his goddaughter Monica Wheeler; and his friend Iris Reed. He is also survived by Seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-nephews, two great-nieces.
