He is survived by: his wife Sandra Boulion Karcher; his children, Brian Karcher (Liz) and Stephanie Karcher Newell (Will); his grandchildren, Ellie Karcher, David Karcher, William Newell (Nicolette) and Andrew Newell; and his caregiver Shawanda Howard.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (105 Bonnabel Blvd, Metairie, LA 70005). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
