It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald John Lopez of Metairie, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on May 8, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel D. Lopez, Sr. and Madeline Tortomasi Lopez; and his grandmother Valentina Alvarado Lopez. He is survived by: his aunt Olga "Nanny" Lopez; his siblings, Manuel D. Lopez (Garey) and Marilyn L. LeBlanc (James); his wife Jacquelyn "Jackie" Vinet Lopez; his children, Timothy R. Lopez, Jeffrey M. Lopez and Lori L. McCluskey (Daniel); and his grandchildren, Mechela Cecile Lopez, Rylie Marie McCluskey, Brady Daniel McCluskey and Beau Matthew McCluskey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
