It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert L. Abrahamson (Metairie, Louisiana), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on May 28, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Abrahamson and Hilda Harfert. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patti" A. Petersen Abrahamson; his daughters, Shelia Stahl (Mike) and Caroline Smukler (Matt); his grandchildren, Christina Stahl, Penelope Smukler and Oliver Smukler; and his siblings, Charles Abrahamson (late Melva), Barbara Zimmerman (late Richard) and Ethel Till (late Leslie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in memory of Robert "Bob" Abrahamson to the Special Olympics.
