He was predeceased by: his parents, James Boyd Pearson and Odessa Swaim Pearson; and his sister Jane Pearson. He is survived by: his wife Jeannie Rue Pearson; his children, Elizabeth Rue Brennan and Stephen Robert Rue (Elizabeth Herberg); his granddaughters, Brooke Bridgeman Brennan (Mac Brennan), Ashley Elizabeth Brennan (Jack Schwietz) and GiGi Elise Herberg; and his brother-in-law J. Robert Ates.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Memories Funeral Home (4900 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Bob's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project.
