It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Merlin Seeling (Metairie, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on August 7, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Emile Seeling, Jr. and Armantine Catherine Pecot; and his siblings, Edmund Seeling, Stanley Seeling, Joseph Seeling, Beverly Seeling and Maurice Seeling.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Ory Seeling; his children, Pamela Seeling Porter, Richard Seeling, Jr. Daphne (Late), Gina King (Grady) and Lisa Desforges (Andre); his grandchildren, Amanda Spencer, Benjamin Toledano, Ashlie Seeling, Taylor Brooks, Cullen Desforges, Sarah Desforges, Richard III Seeling (Trace), Trystan Seeling, Tori Seeling, Michael Sumera, Michelle Sumera, Elyse Porter Saunders and Jillian Porter; and his caregivers, April Lee and Chris Ray. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
