He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon and Mary; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Teri and Joel; his brother Michael; his grandchildren, Nathan, Daniel, Jacob and Emily; his son-in-law Darrell (Sharon); and his sister Nannetta. He is also survived by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Second Harvest Food Bank.
