It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Gregory Johnson (Metairie, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Johnson, Sr. and Georgia Louise Hutchinson; his brother Robert Johnson, Jr. (Regina P.); his former wife Mary Ann Johnson; and also Aralean Porter.

He is survived by: his cousins, Henrietta Robinson Porter, Rose Marie Sceau and George Porter, Jr.; his daughter Katrina Porter; his friend Christine Cayette Johnson; and also Michael Anthony Sceau. He is also survived by cousins, relatives and friends.

While working at Ochsner Foundation Hospital for many years, he married Mary Ann Johnson in 1965.
