She was predeceased by: her son Sean Poirrier. She is survived by: her sons, Michel Remi Poirrier and Ryan Sewell Poirrier; her grandchildren, Andrew Franklin Poirrier and Amy Beatrix Poirrier; her daughter-in-law Dr. Lu Sun; and her siblings, John N. Sewell, Kathleen Sewell and David Sewell.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Deutsches Haus (1700 Moss St, New Orleans, LA 70119).
