She was predeceased by: her daughter Katherine; her mother Viola Pierron Labit; her siblings, Vera Labit Riggs, Raymond and James Labit; and her half-siblings, Oneal Jr., Louis Labit and Clothilde Boudreaux.

She is survived by: her husband Donald; her siblings, Norbert Labit and Betty Labit; her children, Christine, Wayne, Linda Silva (Naquin), Sharron Heavy (Naquin) and Karl; and her grandchildren, Dominick Ferrara (Amy), Tracy (Ferrara), Bergeron (Carl), Hope (Finnorn), Giovelli (Nicholas), Joshua, Justin and Jeremy Naquin. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memories Funeral Home (4900 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
