He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Elsie Mae Lester Stephens; his wife Joanne Fryer Stephens; his children, Joelle Stephens, Mark James Stephens, Miriam Stephens McReynolds (Michael) and Esther Stephens Nickalous (Edward); and his grandchildren, Rachelle Copher Childs, Courtney Copher Reid (Brandon), Stievon Copher Jr., Preston McReynolds (Casey), Rebekah McReynolds, Edward Nickalous III and Elizabeth Nickalous. He was also cherished by eleven great-grandchildren; one great great-grand daughter, and many other beloved relatives and friends.
