As we bid May farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For May is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Campbell (Pete) and Mildred Cassidy-Campbell; her siblings, Felix Campbell III (Pete) and Althea Beverly Campbell; and her son Lawrence Mangerchine Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Gasper Mangerchine Jr., Ronald Mangerchine, Allan Mangerchine, Helen Mangerchine-Lally and Milicent Mangerchine-Garrison (Travis). She is also survived by her 19 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren, along with 10 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home (1600 N Causeway Blvd, Metairie, LA 70001). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
