It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Roselyn Alesich Severa (Metairie, Louisiana), who passed away on December 13, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew F Alesich, Sr. and Audrey Pearl Ragas Alesich; and also Andrew "Buddy" Alesich, Jr. (Marie). She is survived by: her husband Joseph John Severa; her children, Melinda Riso (Ray), Roger Severa, Tiffany Pate (Christian), Kimberly Dennis (Jimmy) and Davin Severa (Kim); her grandchildren, Hailey Criddle (Luke), Amber Durrett (Logan), Will Wright, Calli Miranti (Vince), Brianna Dennis, Nicole Riso, Meredith Severa and Maycen Severa; her great grandchild Chanel Jo Miranti; her siblings, Raymond Alesich Sr. (Sandra), Donnie Alesich (Melanie) and Donea Benandi (Stacy); and her nieces and nephews, Andy Alesich, Andrea Alesich, Danny Alesich, Crystal Alesich, Catherine Chachere (Adam), Ray Alesich (Jetra), Christopher Alesich (Robyn), Donna Scanlan (Shawn), Payton Benandi, Cameron Benandi and Corrine English (Brandon). She is also survived by numerous cousins, great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Mary Magdalen Church (6425 W Metairie Ave, Metairie, LA 70003). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
