It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Hortensia Diaz of Metairie, Louisiana, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Aniceto Molina and Maria Hortencia Molina; and her siblings, Judith Esperanza Molina, Dr. Guillermo Molina and Ramon Victor Molina.

She is survived by: her husband D. Mauricio Diaz; her children, Giselle Eastlack (Edward) and Mauricio Diaz; and her grandchildren, Tyler, Blake, James, Lilyana and Aleena. She is also survived by many cousins, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and grandnieces/nephews and devoted friends.
