He is survived by: his wife Louise Bird; his children, Gisele Bird Hebert (Ron), Christine Bird Godwin (Mike), Kenny Bird (Chauntel), Stephen Bird (Melissa) and Patricia Bird Martinez (Charlie); and his brothers, Daniel Bird Sr. and George Bird. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
