It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of June Gibson McGehee (Metairie, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Everett McGehee; her brother Joseph A. Gibson, Jr.; and her parents, Joseph A. Gibson, Sr. and Esther Rose Carbone Gibson. She is survived by: her children, Lori McGehee Lenfant (Warren), Kerry McGehee (Karen) and Craig McGehee (Paula); her grandchildren, Jennifer Wright (Eddie), Warren Lenfant III, Benjamin Lenfant (Caroline), Gabriella Konechne (Chas), Lauren Hingle (Justin), Craig McGehee, Jr., Alex McGehee (Shirley) and Cory McGehee; and her great grandchildren, Fiona Wright, Keela Wright, Giuseppe Konechne, Patria Wright, Chip Konechne, Evelyn Lenfant, Pippa Konechne, Graham Hingle and Brooks McGehee. She is also survived by her family; treasuring her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (444 Metairie Rd, Metairie, LA 70005). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
