It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita A. Dauphin (Metairie, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on January 1, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Amira A. Salas; and her sister Vilma A. Rodrigue (Claude). She is survived by: her spouse Edward R. Dauphin "Skippy"; her children, Michael A. Lena (Jeanine) and Karen Amira Lena; her siblings, Rosemary, Regina, Ramona, Maria, Dan and Michael; her cousin Henry Aranda of Florida; and her pet Pepe. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
