She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert J. P. Schmit; her parents, Annie Salemi Barcia and Joseph F. Barcia; and her sister Jennie B. Spitale. She is survived by: her son Bradley J. Schmit; her grandchildren, Garrett J. Schmit and Gracyn E. Schmit; and her siblings, Mary Evola, Rose Evola, Joseph Barcia, Alphonse Barcia, Henry Barcia and Guy Barcia.
