He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Buddy" M. DeFraites, Jr. and Beverly Ehrlicher DeFraites. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Charleville DeFraites; his children, Joseph A. DeFraites (Jessica) and Robin DeFraites Washington; his grandchildren, Madeleine, Sean Patrick, Joshua and Beatrice DeFraites; and his siblings, Robert DeFraites (Colleen), Lawrence DeFraites (Gwen), Barbara DeFraites, Rose Fallon (Ken) and Ann Alphonso (John). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
