It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Scott Stiegman (Metairie, Louisiana), who passed away on May 21, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Stiegman, Sr. and Lois Browne; his brother Karl "Spool" Stiegman, Jr.; and his significant other Anne Roser Stiegman. He is survived by: his children, Scott Stiegman (Elizabeth), Marie Marshall (Howard), Katherine Stiegman and Patrick Stiegman (Bridget); his grandchildren, Adele, Magnolia, Luke and Olivia; and his sister Karol Stiegman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

His dedication and exceptional service to Scouting were recognized with the prestigious Silver Beaver Award, a testament to his significant contributions to youth and his community. Beyond his contributions to Scouting, John was profoundly dedicated to his faith and his church community.
