We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2025 we had to say goodbye to John Victor Niemietz (Metairie, Louisiana). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Wit Niemiec of Kolbuszowa Poland and Josef Niemiec of Austria; his siblings, Steve, Stanley, Mildred Orzalek and Genevieve Niemiec; and his brother-in-law Edward Orzalek.

He is survived by: his wife Loretta Clement Niemietz; his nephew Ed Orzalek; and his niece Adele Orzalek Mackell.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memories Funeral Home (4900 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Contributions in memory of John Niemietz may be sent to Rummel High School in Metairie or to Holy Cross High School in New Orleans or to a charity of your choice.
