We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2025, at the age of 88, John Alfred Mipro Jr. of Metairie, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Linda; his siblings, Maximillian and Katherine; and his parents, John A. Mipro, Sr. and Elizabeth Deselles Mipro.
He is survived by: his children, John Mipro III (Kim), Terry Mipro (Theresa), Roxane Mipro Palermo (Lou) and Darrell Mipro (Lisa); his grandchildren, Jeremy Mipro (Aja), Kyle Mipro (Kristina), Kathryn Mipro, Rachael Mipro, Tanner Ponthieux (Alexis), Gabrielle Rooks (Brett), Amanda Palermo, Bailey Mipro and Bryce Mipro; and his great grandchildren, Grace, Tucker, Lucas, Cayden, Mckenzie and Charlie.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home (3827 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70119). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
